Nottingham Poetry Festival brings together poets, performers, and audiences from across the UK for a city‑wide celebration of creativity. Over the past decade, the festival has hosted hundreds of events, from intimate readings to large‑scale performances, championing both established artists and emerging voices.

NPF continues to grow each year, creating space for connection, expression, and the joy of language. This year marks the festival’s 10th anniversary, a milestone celebrating a decade of poetry, performance, and community across Nottingham.

The 2026 festival will take place from 5–14 June, with a launch party on 4 June at Fox & Grapes. Audiences can expect a vibrant mix of headline performances, open‑mic nights, workshops, family‑friendly activities, and community‑led events that showcase the richness and diversity of Nottingham’s creative scene.
